This Lemon Pepper seasoning consists simply of coarse ground black pepper and lemon peel. It provides a fresh zingy lemon pepper taste to all sorts of dishes.
For fish add Lemon Pepper to flour and salt, and coat the fish before pan frying for an easy, tasty meal. It is equally good sprinkled onto chicken pieces, especially in any recipe that uses a quick cooking technique. Interesting alternative seasoning for barbecued fish or chicken (add a little water/oil to help it stick). Add sparingly to a plain omelette, scrambled eggs or eggy bread to brighten up a supper dish.
Lemon Pepper seasoning can also be used as a table condiment and sprinkled onto finished dishes in place of plain black pepper.
