Returns, Exchanges and Refunds
You have our pledge of excellence for every product that we sell on SpiceWala.co.uk. We believe that SpiceWala offers the most complete range of Spices currently available online.
We understand that ordering Indian Spice products online can be more difficult than buying them in a physical store. So, we offer you a unique no risk guarantee.
We are confident that you will be delighted with your purchase, but should you wish to return an item for a full refund or exchange, then simply return it to us within 14 days. Goods must be unused and in their original condition (this includes the product packaging), or we will not be able to refund you. We will issue a full refund for the price that you paid for the item, minus any delivery charges. Please note that you can use this offer only once per transaction.
For reasons of hygiene we are unable to offer refunds, replacements or exchanges on any opened or used goods.
If the item is faulty, please provide a full description of the fault and return the item(s) for a refund or exchange.
Products on special offer, or explicitly noted as non-returnable, cannot be returned.
For your protection, we recommend that you use a recorded delivery service to return items.
Refunds will be carried out by crediting your debit card/credit card or Paypal account. Only the card used to make the purchase can be credited. Please allow up to 10 days for a refund to be fully processed.
Your satisfaction is our top priority. We will do our very best to see that you are completely satisfied with every order. If you are not, returning is simple and easy. Just post the item in question back us.
We will process your return as quickly as possible and credit your account, or we will issue a refund or exchange - whichever you prefer.
Exchanges will only be dispatched once the original goods have been returned.
To get the return process started, send an email, stating your name, order number and the reason for the return. We will take it from there.
REFUNDS – we promise that they will happen as fast as possible.
If you have requested a refund, we will credit the card that you originally used to pay for the purchase. Unfortunately, credit card companies take longer than we would like to process credits (up to 10 business days), and we apologise for any inconvenience that this may cause. You can contact us by email, to confirm whether or not a return has been processed.
Damaged or defective pieces - we need to be notified ASAP.
If the product that you receive is defective, has been damaged in transit, or is not the item that you ordered, contact us, so that we can resolve the problem.
SpiceWala will offer a refund on unopened items, returned to us within 14 days of receipt, provided that they are in their original condition. Simply return the item(s) to SpiceWala in their original condition, within 14 days of receipt following the steps below. We will issue a refund (excluding delivery fees), within 10 working days of receipt. Your statutory rights are not affected.
NON- RETURNABLE ITEMS: Sales items or Samples cannot be returned. Non returnable items are marked with an asterisk (*).
To return any item to SpiceWala, please follow these steps:
1 - Contact our Spicewala customer services and provide your order reference number and specify which items you wish to return.
2 - Return items. Send the items you wish to return to SpiceWala, following our instructions. Wrap items securely in the same or similar packaging in which you received them. The item is still your responsibility, until it reaches us. We recommend you return your package via Recorded Delivery, or a delivery service that insures you for the value of the goods. SpiceWala is not liable for lost parcels. We are not liable for the cost of returning goods. The address for returns is:

3 - Inspection and Refund. All returned goods will be examined upon receipt. For reasons of hygiene we are unable to offer refunds or replacements on any opened or used goods, unless they are faulty. We will process your return as quickly as possible and will notify you by email, once your refund has been processed. Your refund will be made by the original or agreed payment method, no later than 10 working days after we have received the goods.
Please note that delivery charges are not refunded. If your order value after returning your items no longer qualifies for free shipping, delivery charges will be deducted from your refund. If you used a discount voucher and your order no longer qualifies, the voucher value will be deducted from your refund. If you received a free gift and your order no longer qualifies, the free gift must be returned or its value will be deducted from your refund.
SpiceWala reserves the right to monitor customer cancellations and returns, and charge administration fees, payment processing fees and refuse returns if a customer is repeatedly found to be buying and returning goods. Each return is assessed on an individual basis, taking customer history into consideration.
WITHOUT EXCEPTION, WE WILL NOT ACCEPT RETURNS ON OPENED OR USED ITEMS.
DAMAGED OR WRONG ITEMS
We recommend that you inspect your entire order upon delivery. If an item arrives damaged or in error, please contact our Customer Service team immediately, by clicking here or using the 'Contact' link on our Help page. Damages, defects, missing items or any errors not reported within 3 working days of receipt will not be accepted for return. We will make arrangements for a replacement to be delivered to you free of charge. You will be asked to return the damaged or wrong item in its original packaging, if possible.
Your statutory rights are not affected.
Under distance selling regulations, you have the right to cancel your order for a full refund within 14 working days, from the date of receipt of the goods, if you send a written notice of cancellation and return the goods to SpiceWala in their original, unopened and unused condition. This does not apply to Special Offers or items that are listed as non-returnable for reasons of hygiene. Please note that credit card charges are not refunded. To cancel your order, please contact our Customer Service team, by clicking here or using the 'Contact' link on our Help page, quoting your full name and order number. You can cancel your order online at any point up, to the completion of the secure payment section at the checkout. Beyond this point, your order may be dispatched at any time, even before you receive your dispatch confirmation email. If your order has already been processed and dispatched, you will need to return the order to SpiceWala Returns. To return an order or item, please read the Returns section. Your statutory rights are not affected.
